  • Solution 2 : By Clearing Google Chrome Cache

    You need to have your proxy server settings checked, inorder to resolve the issue of ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED in Chrome.

  • Click on the Gear icon at the top right corner of your Google Chrome window. Now click on the Settings option from the list of options that gets expanded out. When the new window for Settings opens up, start typing proxy into the search bar as shown in the screenshot given below. From the search results, click on the button named Change proxy settings.
