Method 1:

This method is divided into several steps. They are:
Step 1:

Open the “Settings” app. You can open this app just by pressing “Windows key+I”.
Alternatively, you can type “Settings” in the Search Bar next to the Start Menu. Click on the first option provided.

Step 2:
Click on “Network and Internet” Settings.

Note: This setting provide options to configure multiple settings like Wi-Fi, Airplane Mode, Dial Up, VPN, Ethernet, Data Usage and Proxy Settings.

Step 3:
Click on “Wi-Fi” setting provided at the left sub menus settings, if you are connected to internet via Wi-Fi

Or

Click on “Internet Options” if you are connected via Ethernet cable.

Note: You can click “Ethernet” setting if you are connected to internet via Ethernet. Similarly, you can click on “Internet Options” under Ethernet Settings.

Under “Advanced” section, scroll down for “security” settings. Uncheck the three boxes as shown in the screenshot given below and hit “OK” button to confirm your changes.

Note: Disabling these check boxes will bypass the checks which are done by the system to check publisher’s certificate, server certificate and digital signatures.

Alternate Method

Choose “Security” Tab, click on “Custom level”.

Note: Custom level allows the user to modify the security settings when accessing the internet. You can always hit “Reset” button to avoid any changes made in this settings. It configures all settings to default.

Step 5:
Scroll down to “launching applications and unsafe files (not secure)”. Hit the radio button on “Enable (not secure)” and click on “OK” to finish.

Alternate Method 2:

 

This method is again divided into several steps. They are:
Step 1:
Repeat Steps 1, 2 and 3 described in method 1.
Step 2:
Under “Content” section, click on “Publishers”.

Note: Programs downloaded from internet have certificates installed with them for security reasons. If your program does not have a certificate, it is considered unsafe and blocked for your safety.

Step 3:
Under “Untrusted Publishers” section, click on the file name which is listed in the box given below.

Click “Remove” to remove the file from this list.

Step 4:
Now, click on “Trusted Publishers” section and click on “Import” to import the file under the “Trusted Publisher” list.

Step 5:
The above step will initiate a certificate import wizard process. Click on “Next” to continue.

Step 6:
You can select the file name by clicking on “Browse” and specifying the path where the file is saved. Click on “Next” to allow the file to be listed under “Trusted Publishers”.
