  • Enter cmd in the seach box in taskbar of your computer. Right-click on Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator option.

netsh winsock reset

The command Netsh winsock is done to reset the winsock catalog back to clean state or default setting.

Reset command overwrites two registry keys used by TCP/IP. In other words, it removes and re-installs TCP/IP.
