How To Fix Right Click Issue in Windows 10
Although you must have checked for hardware issues beforehand, I would like you to double check with if it’s really a hardware issue. For this here’s what you need to do:
If you are on a PC and use a mouse, try to connect another mouse to your PC and see if the right click is working. On the other hand, you can also try to connect your existing mouse to another PC or laptop and check for the same. You can even try to connect your mouse to another USB port to check for mouse issue.
If you use a laptop and the right click of the trackpad is not working, try to connect a mouse to your laptop and check if the right click works.

#1 – Do A Clean Boot To Fix Right Click Not Working

Check if the right-click works in Windows 10 after a clean boot. If yes, then it’s sure that a software is causing interference. Keep a check while running software. If a software starts and right click stops working, you need to get rid of that software and find an alternative.

#2 – Use ShellExView to Fix Right Click Issue
If you are unable to fix the right click not working issue with Clean Boot or cannot find a software causing the trouble, this method will help.
ShellExView is an Extention Manager software for Windows. Download ShellExView, then run it as an administrator with the help of your keyboard. For that, make a single click on the downloaded file, then press the Menu button (as shown below) on your keyboard to open the right-click menu, and click on the Run as Administrator option.
When the ShellExView runs, it will show all the third party extensions on your PC. To view only the extensions that may cause right click issue, do the following:
Step 1: Click on Options, then select the Filter by Extension Type.
Step 2: A new pop-up windows will open, there select Context Menu option and click on Ok.
Step 2: From the list of extensions, the third party ones will be highlighted in pink color. Select all the third party extensions (highlighted in pink), and press the Red button on the top left corner to stop them.
Step 3: Go to Options again, and click on the Restart Explorer option.
