Fix white Blank Search result in Windows 10/11

Some users have asked about solution for a weird problem in windows 11 and windows 10. Whenever they search anything in Windows 10 search, the search results to Blank white. If you are also facing this, here is the working fix to solve this.

Fix 1 – Disable Bing from Windows 10 search

1. Press Windows Key + R on your keyboard.
2. Type regedit and click OK.
3. Go to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Search

4.  Now, Right-click the right side on any empty space.

5. Choose New.

6. Select D-WORD (32-bit) Value.

7. Rename it to BingSearchEnabled and click OK.

8. Double-click on the BingSearchEnabled entry you just created.

9. Make sure 0 is there in value data field.

10. Click OK.

11. Now, locate  CortanaConsent . If it is not present , right click and choose new > D-WORD (32-bit) Value and name it CortanaConsent .

12. fter that, Double-click CortanaConsent to modify it.

12. Make sure 0 is in the data field here also.

13. Click OK.

14. Restart PC.

Fix 2 – Restart Cortana

1. Press CTRL + Shift + Esc key together to open Task manager.

2. Click on details Tab.

3. Right click on SearchUI.exe and Choose End Task.

Try again and search something.

Fix 3 – Restart File Explorer

1. Press CTRL + Shift + Esc key together to open Task manager.

2. Locate File explorer. Right click on it and choose restart.

Fix 4 – Use Powershell

1. Press Windows key + X together and choose Powershell (Admin).

2. Now, copy and paste the following command in Powershell window.

Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

3. Hit enter key to execute it.

Note:- If you can’t find powershell after pressing Windows key + X then Go to setting > Personalization > Taskbar and Put it there by replacing with command prompt.

 

Fix 5 – Rebuild Search

1. Press Windows key + R together to open run.

2. Write control in it and click OK.

3. Now, Choose Large icons in View By dropdown.

4. Now, click on indexing options.

Fix 6 – Reset Cortana

1. Click on Start button.

2. Right click on Cortana.

3. Choose More > App Settings.
