web page update check from Mozilla

Google reader have turned off the feature which tracked the changes in web pages that didn’t provided updates. Someone told me that alternatives like page2rss are also giving updates, but very late and is a useless tool.

So, here is a Add on from mozilla which will alert you when a web page changes. All you will have to do is to install the add on in the latest version of mozilla. Now go to the web page for which you want to track update.

Step 1 : Go and install the add on from Mozilla  : Click here to Visit website

Step 2  : Click on tool and then update scanner and browse any website. In sidebar click on new entry.

Now add the entries of various websites which you want to track and which are so careless that they don’t provide RSS feeds.

Now each time you will open your system, mozilla will notify you for the number of changes it have seen. Also it will play an audio alert to let you know of the update, even if you are away from your laptop. To know how much time is important in Blogging, read on : The blogging train
